Ahong Chan is one of PH's best mayor during this Covid-19 crisis

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard 'Ahong' Chan has been considered as one of the best mayors in the Philippines according to an online survey. In the said survey, Chan was ranked number 8.

Mayor Vico Sotto of Pasig City was ranked number 1. Other mayors that completes the top 10 list are Bing Climaco (Zamboanga, number 2), Isko Moreno (Manila, number 3), Kit Nieto (Cainta, number 4), Sara Duterte Carpio (Davao, number 5), Francis Zamora (San Juan, number 6), Edgar Labella (Cebu, number 7), Marcy Teodoro (Marikina, number 9) and Vince Soriano (Pakil, Laguna, number 10).

On the said survey conducted by Demokratikong Kabataang Filipino-Dekaf, Chan received laudable comments, especially on his support to his constituents efforts on relief distributions, disinfections, and monitoring of PUIs and PUMs.

Chan was elected mayor last year's election, defeating former mayor Arturo Radaza.
